Since last year we have seen our membership in the local branch triple and continue to grow which is also complemented with our new registered supporters' scheme which has attracted many more to our cause since it launched earlier this year.

Andy Kelly, our Greater Manchester Mayoral Candidate and Liberal Democrat Rochdale Council group leader, outlined his vision as Mayor. He will ensure a different approach to Greater Manchester Spatial Framework to focus on developing brownfield sites and social housing as well as improvements to local policing to tackle the rise of crime and anti-social behaviour in the region.

Thank you to everyone who attended last night and we look forward to working closely with you all during the current General Election and going forward into 2020!
